Ranger REG 09-05-05, 03:21 AM	This is but a simple yet humble request, purely based on selfish notion. There seem to be a column called "Eberrron Expanded" with the most recent article using Heroes of Battles for that particular setting. So I ask, why not for the Realms? In fact, why not offer such Realms-specific reasons to utilize some of the core products like Heroes of Battle or Stormwrack? Or better yet, give us good reasons why we Realms fans want to use Eberron Explorer's Handbook for my FR campaign?

Majorafire77 09-06-05, 09:30 AM	I think it is a lot easier to adapt stuff from the books to FR than it is to adapt that stuff to Eberron. And plus, isn't part of PGtF basically an "FR expanded" for BoVD, BoED, and XPH?
Dielzen 09-06-05, 12:16 PM	Yes, they have update info for 3 books...there's been like 20 "core" books released with new domains/etc. All of the core books should have a couple pages devoted to "Campaign Adaption" instead of arguing whether Velsharoon should have certain domains from Libris Mortis on the boards, you could have an "offical" guide.

I agree, as long as they have adaptations for Eberron as well. They should also have an adaptation section for each PrC presented in a book.
3catcircus 09-07-05, 08:15 PM	I don't so much need a "FR Expanded" column that talks about using each new generic supplement as much as I need good, solid information on the following types of items" 1. Planetary data (circumference, density, etc.) 2. A set of maps showing lat/long, time zones, tides/currents and topography. 3. A set of maps showing accurate trade routes from start to finish. 4. A set of data showing expanded information for trade items, commodities, etc. 5. A set of data showing port capacities, docking fees, etc. for each port. 6. A set of data showing taxes, tariffs, and tolls for each region. 7. A set of maps showing common flora and fauna for each region (i.e. the majority of the trees of the Moonwood are xxx species of evergreen, etc.) 8. A set of full information on the ranks of clerical orders, khights, paladin orders, and monk orders, etc. 9. A set of full information on the size and scope of the military for every region (whether a standing army, a militia, or mercenaries, troop strength and type, military ranks and uniforms, pay scales, etc.)

List deities for the major campaign settings (DL, Eb, FR) that would grant each new domain List organizations that might adapt to organizations presented in the book (since they seem to like detailing 5 new orgs every book) Provide starting regions for the new races List each PrC that has a "custom spell list" and list all the spells from the campaign setting books that would get added Provide a completely new spelllist for such PrCs maybe...for instance the Warmage only has spells from PHB/CArcane (and yes I know it's not a PrC) List each spell and which campaign-specific PrCs get to add it to their "custom spell list" It's a complete dream, of course...but I hate spending hours tweaking custom spell lists whenever a PC picks up one I haven't already had to do. (Not that it happens much)
