Revised Hathran? [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-25-03, 09:35 PM I wondering if Wizards of the Coast is going to revise the Hathran Prestige Class? Maybe the following changes will be done (?):

Requirments:
Alignment: Lawful good, lawful neutral, or neutral good.
Race: Human female or half elf female of Rashemen or Rashemi descent.
Spellcasting: Able to cast 2nd level arcane spells and 2nd level divine spells.
Feats: Ethran.
Patron Deity: Chauntea, Mielikki, or Mystra.
Special: Member in good standing of the Witches of Rashemen.

09-26-03, 04:01 PM I guess it is a bit overpowered! I guess my female PC can always add levels of Mystic Theurge to her classes when she gains a Level...hmmm...Female Human Wiz4/Clr4/Hth2/Mystic Theurge 8! Oh, the possibilities...:devil:

The thing about the mystic theurge is that he gets nothing else, just more spellcasting. No special abilities.
Your Revised Hathran is like the mystic theurge (they even have the same minimum level of entry), only a LOT better, since they get some cool special abilities on top of that insane spellcasting.

Summary: No good.
