roll of years/Alaundo's Prophecies [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-11-04, 10:51 PM where is Alaundo's prophecies at if there is even a record of them i would like to read/have them

and i have a list of the roll of years from -700 DR through 1600 DR but who wrote them (not literally like Ed) but in the FR who wrote them (Alaundo?)

05-11-04, 11:07 PM The naming of a year is not random, nor does it necessarily commemorate any great event or occurrence. Many centuries ago the Lost Sage Augathra the Mad wrote out thousands of years and named them in the great library of Candlekeep. It's a rare year that doesn't see some event that seems clearly connected with its name, and most folks view Augathra's names are mysterious portents of the years ahead.
