Belegul Herudae 11-22-03, 01:13 AM	Quisiera conocer gente de habla hispana en este foro, para intercambiar información y opiniones, claro que lo podemos hacer en inglés pero no es igual pienso que en español nos sentiríamos más identificados además de tener una idea de cuanta gente aquí habla castellano. :b:
Another Gnome 11-22-03, 03:52 AM	The problem with that idea is boards moderation - I assume that few of the moderators here know other languages than English too well, but they still need to know what people are talking about here. Online translators or the like could give a general idea of what a post in Spanish or German or French is about, but what about people who want to use more marginal languages to better identify themselves with their group of people? Besides moderation, it would likely defeat the very purpose of these forums if everyone used the language they feel most comfortable with. If you seek information and opinions, isn't it better to have more variation in the answers, even if using English to do so wasn't an optimal choice for you? * * * Now, I didn't actually understand a word of the original text, so I just hope the translation I got online and replied to wasn't too far off the target... :mymy:

RatoncitoGris 11-23-03, 07:17 AM	No me parece una buena idea, Belegul. Este es un foro en ingles, con gente de todo el mundo, y seria una groseria usar otro idioma que los demás no van a entender. Sobre todo cuando en google consiges 6,700 resultados con "Reinos Olvidados" :D Si no tienes buen nivel de ingles (y este foro es un buen sitio para mejorarlo) prueba algunas de esas paginas, como D&D en Castellano (http://www.DnD-es.com), o la de la editoral Devir (http://www.devir.es) , que publica los juegos. For all those poor, unenlightened northern barbarians out there, I simply said than it would be rude to use another language and suggested a couple of links.
biomante 11-23-03, 07:56 AM	Hola Yo tambien soy de Mexico, aunque actualmente estoy viviendo en Inglaterra. La verdad yo no creo que sea una groseria usar nuestro propio lenguaje, si este es un foro realmente internacional se debe de aceptar que existe gente que habla otros idiomas. En los foros de Sword and Sorcery Studios a menudo hay "posts" en Frances y hasta ahora esto no ha causado ningun problema. Por cierto Belegul, yo no me siento con ningun derecho a cuestionar tu nivel de Ingles, por que en primer lugar ni siquiera te conozco. Este es un foro de juegos y hay que mantenerse amigable y tolerante :D . Me parece muy buena tu idea, yo he visitado sitios en espanol, pero este foro es el mas concurrido y completo. Espero mantener el contacto. PD: Las fallas en la puntuacion y la ortografia son causa del teclado ingles que estoy usando; no me gustaria recibir criticas por mi nivel de espanol ;) .

It isn't against any rules to write in other languages but it would be courteous to give a translation so you don't exclude large numbers of posters, and you don't make it impossible for me to moderate.
