How would you place Santa Clause in the realm? Would he be mortal, immortal or divine? What kind of power does he have over elves and dwarves?

How would the Reamites react to this spirit of giving? How would each race react? How about the Gods/desses react? The major NPC? What types of presents would Santa grant them?

What are Santa's stats? What about Mrs. Clause, Rudulph, the otehr reindeer or Black Peter? What kind of elves/dwarves does he use? What about Frosty and the other Christmas special characters?

Opinions? Or Holiday Cheer?

Why, I think he would be a "Chosen of"! If I had to pick who, why I'm not sure. Perhaps Liira! She is the mistress of joy and all that. She likes celebrations and holidays. That's who I would think. The others are also "Chosen of".

Jack Frost is a "Chosen of Auril". I think that is obvious. He is always jealous of the other chosen and is trying to stop them and stop Christmas all the time. Just look at how he stole Frosty's hat!

Would that make Frosty and Crystal, Auril's enemy? Good creatures of snow. Who is their patron?

And what day would Santa come in the Realms?

I think Frosty and Crystal would be "Chosen of" either Chauntea, or Silvanus. I would want to say Silvanus, but only b/c he never gets mentioned. Frosty does have that cheerful type of attitiude I always associate with the Earth Mother. Since she gave all life to all things on the planet, perhaps she also gave life to Frosty?

Auril dislikes Frosty as she cannot kill him with her wintery breath. Frosty, though, just doesn't care about Auril. Without winter, he wouldn't get to see the children, so he remains ambivilent. Crystal, though, is a little on the careful side. She doesn't want to anger Auril too much and is a bit fearful.

Could you give me more data or a page for that Adobe site that allows you to read WoTC posts. I don't have it, so I can't read it.

If you're referring to the reader for pdf files, then it can be downloaded from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Once the reader is installed, you can read any pdf, not just WotC stuff.

But how does Santa related to the realm?
How does he affect the world of Elminster and the rest? Does his Stats change due to the Realms? Does his world change to reflect the world of Faerun?

Any ideas?

Well see Santa has been around for a long time same with his helper elf. Now a long time ago Gond wanted to put his crafts skills to a even better use. So he grew his beard out and made it white (cuz gods can do this ) made himselfs a slay, rounded up some Ducks ( now this was the first time, so it was not perfect) so it could fly. Now the ducks were good and all but they died fast, so he got deer. Now he asked Corelan to be his helper elf and so the rest of the elven pantheon had to do stuff to. So there is the history of Santa in FR

I'd make it a creature of Rashemen. :). They have reindeer there (if I recall right), and they also have a lot of spirits of the land....... Yes I realize Santa isn't a spirit of the land, but he could be and if Baba Yaga is there, why not Santa. :)
