| Herr Doktor08-20-03, 07:03 PM | Did this woman (now the Castellan of Zhentil Keep) exist in published realms products before the FRCS 3rd Edition? I don't recall ever hearing mention of her. My current campaign takes place in the Dalelands, so I am somewhat interested in her past and what exactly she has to do with the rulership of Scardale (I haven't researched it as of yet, but I plan to start immediately). Was Scyllua in any realms novels or game accesories pre 3rd Edition? If so... where? I am looking for lore on this blackguard, please share what you know! |
| Kuje3108-20-03, 07:13 PM | I think she's new for 3E only. I don't recall any 2e book that has her in it...... |
| Gadodel08-20-03, 07:29 PM | IRC, she is in fact new for 3E. Though, the Darkhope that helped Fzoul create his artifact was introduced before this. I suggest you look over Cloak and Dagger...a 2E product, perhaps it might reveal more info. |
| Dargoth08-20-03, 07:35 PM | I believe she gets a mention in Cloak and Dagger one of the last 2ed books published As for her claim to Scardale Scyllua is supposedly the bastard daughter of Lashan the last ruler of Scardale Just before the Time of Troubles Lashan started a war to unite all the Dales under his rule, he failed and a coalition of Dalesmen, Sembians, Cormyians and Zhents crushed his army and occupied Scardale, much of the occupation force was destroyed during the Time of Troubles when Bane and the Zhents occupied the Dale. The occupation forces where finally driven out when plague broke out in Scardale town. Scylla is the last blood relation to Lashan and hence the heir to his dale. On a side note: Lashan is actually still alive, hes was trapped by an Imprisonment spell in Myth Drannor |
| Gotrex08-20-03, 07:59 PM | isnt she in the avatar series or am i thinking of someone else? |
| TinySilverChalice08-20-03, 08:19 PM | Either way, I think she's awesome, like an unholy Joan of Arc. |
| Herr Doktor08-20-03, 08:21 PM | I think cloak and dagger is one of the only 2nd Edition realms supplements I couldn't get ahold of. I have a copy of most other accessories and such. How much info is there on Scyulla in the book? I think I'd better pick it up anyway, but before I put my hopes into seeing a good bit of lore on her in particular, I'd like to know. |
| Ryltar Swordsong08-20-03, 09:31 PM | Cloak and dagger gives brief descriptions of her rise in the Zhentarim. |
