Seperate Message Boards for FR Products - please comment! [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-14-03, 04:54 PM The FR boards are being re-organized, but there will NOT be seperate boards for new FR products (such as Underdark).

I feel this is a mistake, and products such as Underdark deserve their own boards, just like generic d&d products such as Draconomicon.

Just searching for comments on Underdark reveals few, and for the reason there is no place that encourages such comments.

As someone said, part of the fun of buying a new book is discussing it. Don't sell the FR books short....give them their own boards!

12-14-03, 06:07 PM As the boards are now, Faerunian Geography would be the place to discuss the Underdark. If you have questions about PrCs, spells, races, or equipment, go to the respective boards for those subjects.

12-15-03, 12:14 AM I will repeat the post I made on the MetaBoards and then close this post as it is a discussion about how the boards are organised and should go on the metaboard.

I know it is confusing as the forums like "Races and Classes", "Spells & Magic" etc are all listed under The Forgotten Realms Campaign Sourcebook Categoy. Please ignore this fact until we redo the caterories.

If you want to talk about information on races, new classes, new feats or skills, new spells then just pick the most appropriate subheading in the FRCS section. This makes sense as there will be lots of relevent information for almost all topics in other books as well as the Underdark book. For example you can start a discussion about a race in this category no matter if it is a home-grown race, one from the FRCS or one from any of the other supplements.

If you want to talk about the Underdark book in general (is it worth buying, the artwork etc) then use the "General" section.

If you want to ask the authors a question then use "The official "Ask The Core Rules and Supplement Authors" thread which is in the "General" section.
