Where could I be directed to find recent updated information on Shadowdale, and the rest of the Dales for that matter...
I am running a campaign that kinda needs it...

Aftermath of the City of the Spider Queen...

My players failed to stop Irea and now have brand new characters for this that are Dales folk, and are being mustered to defend the Dales. The Weave Corruption is spreading, and so on and so forth....

So... I got the info in the FRCS on all this, but what it lacks are the town descriptions, stating what the rulers are and the highest level characters etc....

This all sprung up because one of the players contracted Lycanthrope and needed a cleric of 12th level or higher to cast the spell on him, but no where in the FRCS does it say who the highest level cleric is in Shadowdale...

Thanks...

Your better of getting the 2e campaign box set. It contains a whole book on Shadowdale. It is a little dated though.....

The best source of information on Shadowdale can be found in a medium we are no longer able to discuss.

We can't discuss the medium, but we can cite sources as long as they aren't the focus of the thread or post. As well as the Shadowdale book in the 1993 Campaign Set, Shadowdale sources include the Old Grey Box (including a census of the village), FRE1 Shadowdale, FRE2 Tantras, and several of Ed Greenwood's novels and short stories, including Shandril's Saga, Shadow of the Avatar, Silverfall, and "Moonrise over Myth Drannor". Ed's recent candlekeep.com postings include information on Harpers' Hill.

The main source on the rest of the Dales is Volo's Guide to the Dalelands (http://www.rpgnow.com/product_info.php?products_id=1626&).

Novels are no longer allowed to be discussed in some ways, refer to the FAQ on Novel discussion on the boards. If you discuss Novels they come to your door with...a hose!
