Well there is the Shadowdale book in the 2e campaign box set you can use for ideas. Um there are ruins near Shadowdale as well, quite a few of them in fact. :)

Castle Grimstead can be used, or Castle Krag, or The Dwarven Sinkhole, of Elf Leap, or Fox Ridge, or Shadow Ridge. Or you can also throw in some old drow ruins since the drow once ruled that area. Eilistraee's clerics did as well as Lloth's did on and off before the humans settled there.

Also can use the farms to effect or the npc's as was mentioned.

All of these are in the Shadowdale book from the box set I mentioned. :) There is also a low level adventure in that book, but for 3/3.5 it probably will be a little higher level because of the drow that is the Big Bad at the end.

The Ruins of Myth Drannor aren't that far away from Shadowdale as well. Maybe a portal in there leading to Undermountain.

Grin, well I didn't mention Myth Drannor atm, because his PC's are still 1st level. :) Myth Drannor and 1st level PC's usually equal dead PC's. :)

Ditto for Undermountain

Myth Drannor and Undermountain? Meh. I've yet to see any dungeon a 4-person 1st-level party can reasonably expect to survive. A couple of bad rolls, and a single cave with two wolves in it can easily end up in a TPK...

If the players are not too picky, doing some combat-light errand-running to build up experience and a bit of coin in genuine computer game style might not a bad idea. :)

(Note to self: use legendary "rat swarm in a warehouse" next session)
