I’m going to introduce the Sharn Wall in my campaign.
Any idea in game rules terms?
Thanks.

I believe it required an eruption from weave and shadow weave magic interacting to actually penetrate the Sharn wall so that pretty much should give you an idea. Probably an absorption ability of either type of magic cast at the wall, negates all translocation and divination spells. And a Mordanakien Disjunction affect against any magic item that touches the wall with the exception of major artifacts which should cause some rip in the area if someone was foolish enough to do that.

I would assume the wall is self-repairing so the whole created in 1372 is closed, the weave is probably it's anchor requiring the immediate area weave to be ended for the sharn wall to fall, which means the wall functions in dead magic areas as well. It's Sharn magic afterall, shouldn't follow the ordinary rules.

-Don't even bother trying to figure that out. It was a phenominon that was never mentioned before, was featured in the Return of the Archwizards Trilogy, and has been abandoned since. A lot of what happened in that trilogy can be summed up as "Poetic License" and isn't actually "canon rule", if that made any sense.

I thought the RotA trilogy merely gave the name to an effect (well, loosely hinted at effect) that to my knowledge was first mentioned in NEoM?.
From NEoM
It was unusual that Anauroch ceased its spread with the fall of
Hlondath. Many suspected that the sharn—powerful spellcasters
whose magic transformed the land around them as they cast their
spells—were the source of the phaerimm’s ending of the magic
drain spells.

I thought the Sharn Wall was destroyed?
I'd use an epic spell utilizing the Ward seed, inverted as a bubble, to keep the Phaerimm imprisoned within.

A breach occured in the wall and later closed, the wall was never destroyed, and I doubt epic magic would work either, none of the gods avatars attempted to breach the wall as far as I know. I think it was collective casting by the sharn with some of them possibly allowing themselves to "become" the wall as well. Sharn are capable of taking on high level mages and archmages single-handily so it probably would take a collective epic spell to breach the wall as well. I'm assuming OP wants to breach it and not destroy it completely. It's possible the wall exist on various planes as well, I know it travels through solid rock.

Ah, thanks for the correction. Not sure why I thought it had been destroyed. When did the hole close tho'? PGtF says the High Magic attempt to seal it failed.

-Uh, I don't exactly see how that quote talks about the Weave and the Shadow Weave interacting.

-Anyway, N:EoM couldn't have mentioned it because the Shadow Weave didn't exist back then (As in when the supplement was written, not in the FR Chronology).

?And why would it talk about the Weave and Shadow Weave interacting? The Sharn Wall, and the qoute from NEoM of the Sharn possibly being responsible for the halting of the Phaerimm, has nothing to do with the Shadow Weave. I qouted that passage in response to your

pointing out that the Sharn involvement with the halting of the phaerimm has been mentioned in the past and that the RotA trilogy's use of the Sharn Wall may have been based upon that older Lore.
You're confoozling me LK...

-I was talking about the interaction between the Weave and the Shadow Weave in the Return of the Archiwzard trilogy (strange explosions), in regards to the Sharn Wall. Now you're confoozling me, KtM. ;)

OH! Ok. I see where I made the mistake. You were replying specifically to the bold. I thought you were talking about the Sharn Wall itself. Doi on me.

I would think so, or else a friend of mine is doing a big no no. It all depends on how it's prepared.

-As long as you don't wrap it in bacon, yes, yes it is.
