Pacal 03-05-05, 06:22 PM	this is the thing, what if lolth and other deity consumates an alliance lets say cyric. lolth sended one off her best followers to conduct the bigest drow invasion the world has ever seen, of course oter drow deiities evil or not try to waste lolth´s plans. what if lolth creates an eclipce maybe allied whit shar in a complot to gain power or do whatever they want on faerum, what if the eclipce covers the sun until someone intervene. wht if some events (????) creates a series of small portalls that starts getting bigger and bigger letting more and more fiends out of nine hells and of the abysm. the time is running and the drows are invading. i would like to know ho would join these and ho will join against these. where the drows would preferibly emerge and ho they would attack firsth would it be a good idea to use this as a campaing possibility in long terms its just an idea, i would appreciate some help in doing this

No evil groups would ever collaborate this much, ever. First off, the Drow would begin fighting amongst themselves, so that alliance would fall apart. Should Fiends and Devils find themselves suddenly on Toril, they would not join together to fight. Instead, they would begin fighting each other. There is no way that something like this could ever happen...
Zevox 03-06-05, 08:55 AM	I'd agree with Lord Karsus on this one. Lolth is one of those deities that just isn't willing to ally with anyone else unless they're subservient to her, no matter what. Plus shes not really interested in getting the Drow back to the surface: thats in the tennents of Vhaerun and Eilstraee, not Lolth. And Shar would have to deal with Lathander if she wanted to eclipse the sun, so right there you've got a deity battle going on, with Lathander probably having allies he could call upon if necessary (certainly Selune would be more than happy to help, if nothing else). Some of the other Drow deities actually would likely try to stop Lolth. After all, Vhaerun outright hates her, and Eilstraee is a goodly Drow deity who wouldn't want to see her overrunning the "night above" with her followers. Plus most Drow aren't inclined to leave the Underdark anyway. They're pretty well safe down there from everyone but each other, engrossed in thier constant plotting and power games, and haven't any particular aspirations to conquer anything but thier rival houses. Like Karsus said, mass numbers of Demons and Devils popping up on Faerun isn't going to get them to fighting the Faerunians, all its going to do is turn wherever in Faerun they arrive into the latest Blood War battlefield. Slime Lord 03-06-05, 09:26 AM	This is almost better for the Deities thread, but untill sis moves it... I have asked before if Shar and Lolth would ever make an alliance with one another to take out the Two Moon Goddesses (Eliss and Selune who are in alliance.). Many people responded that Lolth would be plotting against Shar in the alliance, and the same goes for Shar against Lolth. So, logically because of their rivalary and hatred for one another, they would destroy them selves with the aid of the Moon Goddesses. It's nice to wonder if such a thing would ever go though, even though we know it won't. But it's fun.
