I remember finding in a realms supplement a calculation for determining the value of a slave. I cant seem to find it now, but need it for the fact that the players are going to attempt to rescue some slaves from Thay and they plan on buying their freedom. So if anyone knows where the info is I would appeciate it.

Unapproachable East states that a typical healthy human slave sells for about 50gp in Thay. Mind you that a typical slave is going to be a 1st level human commoner, expert, or warrior. In addition, given that slavery is both legal and abundant in Thay, you can expect that this price may be far steeper elsewhere.

As for adventurers (i.e. slaves with levels in a standard adventurer class; fighter, rogue, etc), I would probably use the figures for the daily fees of an adventurer hireling of the appropriate level to start with, and perhaps multiply them by 50 or 100?
