Then how much would a 5th level commoner cost with a remarkable 17 strength

Then what would a Red Wizard sell a 5th level Fighter for, also with 17 Strength e.t.c., e.t.c

I believe Sean K Reynolds once said, but don't quote me here, that they can go up to 50 or so GP, depending on age, skills, etc.....

But I went to his boards to search for such and couldn't find it, but I asked him and he helped me remember where I saw the text on that in the 3/3.5 books.... It's on page 86 and 87 in the FRCS. 50GP to 100GP.

Laborers of no particular Skill go cheaply (Say, for 10 gp) and are often sold in Large Batches, While some slaves with unique Qualities of skill, learning, or beauty go for hundreds or even thousands of gold pieces.

Now a question for everyone... what about giants as slaves? how much would a giant go for?

07-16-04, 12:57 AM Plot & Poison, A Guidebook to Drow by Green Ronin has a section dealing with slaves. Listing "common" slaves from 5gp for a kobold up to 800gp for an Athach.
