Hi guys,

Do any of you know where I can find more information on some of the smaller towns of the Silver Marches?

I'm thinking about towns like Hilltop, Khelb, Rauvincross or Auvendell.

I found some stuff on Jalanthar in Volo's Guide to the North but I can't find anything on the others.

Thank you for your help,

Beyond the Silver Marches regional sourcebook, not much that I'm aware of out there if it isn't in Volo's Guide to the North. You might try looking at the WotC DL page, which is down at the moment unfortunately, so I can't offer much more than looking for The North and The Savage Frontier as free dl's and scanning through there for relevent entries that might help you.

Most of the elements that aren't in The North (download it here (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/downloads)), which incorporates Volo's Guide to the North with FR5 The Savage Frontier and new material, but are in Silver Marches, are only mentioned in the latter.

Volo's guide to the North (especially the later chapter that goes through the areas above and surrounding the great forest map-by-map) is extremely helpful.

Noanar's Hold is one of my favorites and I took the information that I found in Silver Marches and Volos and detailed it out into a town for my campaign a few years ago. Created a map, fleshed out the NPC's, dropped in a few rumors and encounters, and my players loved it. In fact, their characters came to consider it a second home.

That would be my advice on the towns (and any others) you mentioned. If you can't find any printed info on them, you can Google them and see if other DMs have fleshed them out or you can pick one, tailor it to your campaign, and see what your players think.
Better yet, have your players pick one and help flesh it out with you.
Good luck.
