Hopefully someone here can help me out.

I have a rogue henchman who is pretty handy with the ranged sneak attack.
I was just wondering if she had the rapid shot feat and the opponent was flanked with her been within 30' would the sneak attack damage apply to both arrows if they both hit?

Yes. If the opponant was flat footed. No if the archer is flanking because you cannot flank with a ranged weapon. Well, you can with a PrC (Order of the Bow Initiate, others) but thats something that your NPC may not have.

To add just a tad to Board rider's comment,

Any condition that would deny the target of his dexterity would be subject to multiple sneak attacks from the rogue/archer. Ofcourse, the archer would have to be within 30 feet for this to happen, barring a feat that extends it out to 60 feet.

Is there a feat that extends the range of a sneak attack, and or, the point blank range?

No FEAT that I know of but there is a Spell. Sniper Shot in the CV grants unlimited range for a SA. However it is for only 1 shot. Keep in mind though of ranged penalties.

OotBW extends precision-based attack and damage modifiers to 60' at level 10.

Thanks for the help. I was under the impression you could flank from a distance within 30'.

Guess i will take the feat anyway, makes for some nice damage if they both hit.

Oh it is still very strong without the flanking. You just have to focus on Hiding and invisibility to get your sneak attacks off. If the rogue wins initiative, he can often sneak on round one.

Just had a thought, lets say i gave my rogue one level of the order of the bow initiate, it says that the ranged precision damage stacks with sneak attack damage, would that mean if i flanked someone with her within 30' i could do the sneak attack and ranged precision dmage?

You get that +1d8 any time that you take only 1 shot, not just when the enemy is flat-footed. The SA stacks if the target is flat footed.

I was wrong with the OofTBI...they do NOT get to flank with the bow. Wrong PrC. So you still cannot flank....but you can hide and snipe. Or find some other way to deny your target his/her DEX.

There's also a spell in Complete Adventurer that allows you to stand next to a target and threaten/sneak/flank for 1 round or 1 shot (forget which offhand)

True, but they do not draw an attack of opportunity when using a bow in melee combat. That's very handy, in my opinion

Ok thanks. Guess i will just keep her as a straight rogue and work on ways of denying opponents dex.
