| hensteeth08-04-05, 10:37 AM | anyone know if it's Epic level or just an 'epic' (in the descriptive) adventure? |
| WVgamer08-04-05, 10:49 AM | The suggested level is fourth level characters. |
| hensteeth08-04-05, 10:53 AM | Doh! I missed that. :) |
| WVgamer08-04-05, 11:00 AM | s'okay, but honestly, I just think this is a gimick campaign to get you to buy mini's. It even mentions it in the description. |
| BrianCritchley08-04-05, 03:04 PM | yeah, I'll be giving the adventure a read over in my store before buying it or not, sadly if this is a shameless Minis push and it doesn't sell WOTC is gonna go "AVENTURES NEVER SELL" instead of "hmm gee ya know it seems our gamers don't want a shameless attempt to sell d&d minis to em" |
| kaeso08-06-05, 01:09 PM | minis are pointless when i can just use a squared cutout of an index card to represent each character or monster. besides, i personally think they would greatly take away from my character's imaginations, and i dont like being told how to imagine things. if i describe a monstrous spider to my characters, i want them to have clear and vivid images in their heads, i dont want them to be thinking 'oh so it looks like that little thing on the board... kinda pathetic' and besides, its like when someone reads a book and then a movie comes out for the book and the movie is NOT how they imagined things, thats what minis do |
