What some feats that would make a barbarian a good bit faster?

The feat Dash adds 5 feet to your speed, I believe it's found in Complete Adventurer.

The Run feat from the PHB will make your barbarian run at x5 speed instead of x4...

In a previous campaign, I really scared the DM off when I told him that my 1st-level barbarian with the Run and Endurance feat could run on average 117 miles per day... that fear turned to panic when my barbarian turned to the party and said "I'm running to that country over there to see if they can send some warriors to help our lands..."

Not something a low-level adventurer usually does... :D

...and the fact that my barbarian was as dumb as a post made the act even more believeable! :D (i.e. he didn't know much, but boy, the boy could run!)

the "Quick" Trait from "Unearthed Arcana" adds 10 to your speed but -1hp per level...i don't know if you want to sacrifice a hit point each level....but you do get a ten foot advantage in speed.

If you're looking to get hits in before the baddies, take a look at Improved Initiative.

Sweet water to you.

There's a psionic feat called Speed of Thought which will give you a 10ft bonus to your speed while psionically focussed and not in heavy armour, although dependent on your race you might need to take Wild Talent to qualify for psionic feats. http://www.d20srd.org/indexes/psionicFeats.htm for more details...
