In the Magic of Faerun book it states that spellfire attacks may be delivered as a melee or ranged touch attack. Does this mean that a monk with spellfire might deliver spellfire melee touch attacks in conjunction with their unarmed strikes? What exactly would the mechanic for this be?

Thanks so much in advance,

Using Spellfire is a standard action, so no, a monk could not use it with his unarmed strike.

A spellcaster using touch attack spells, including a cleric with their cure spells, can "hold the charge" to deliver it in a later round from when it is cast. I was thnking they could "charge up" one round and then attack with it later...

But why charge it, discharge it in ranged attack you only need to hit touch armor.
