Spellfire Wielding Sister? [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-11-03, 08:50 PM OK, I know only one of the Seven Sisters wields true spellfire along with silver fire. Could anyone tell me who?! My best friend and I are trying to figure it out, but neither of us can find it. Thanks.

12-11-03, 09:25 PM You're not confusing silver fire with spellfire, are you? All of the Chosen can wield silver fire.

I don't know of any Sisters that are spellfire wielders -- and I just did a quick scan thru The Seven Sisters, where I didn't see any mention of spellfire.

Volo's Guide to All Things Magical says that Khelben and Elminster can wield spellfire, but unlike other spellfire wielders, they had to ask for it -- usually it's inherited.

I cannot, however, recall any mention of any of the Chosen ever using spellfire. None of them have been given stats as a spellfire wielder.

Edit: I just flipped thru the FRCS, and the Magic of Faerūn, and neither one named any spellfire channelers other than Shandril Shessair.

In 2nd edition, the class was spellfire wielder, and was described in Volo's Guide to All Things Magical. The 3e version is the spellfire channeler, and is described in Magic of Faerūn.

There have been instances in the novels where the Chosen will use Silverfire to heal themselves, but this is drawn from the abilities of the Chosen of Mystra in 2nd edition, where the presence of Silverfire within a Chosen allowed her to regenerate.

The only other magical ability wielded by any of the Sisters whose name you may have confused with Spellfire is the Moonfire possesed by Qilue Veladorn, as a Priestess of Elilistrae. There is also the Arcane Fire ability of the Archmage, but both of the Sisters who have Archmage levels (The Simbul and Alustriel) neither of them possess it.
