| 11d701-25-05, 07:01 AM | I plan on starting a FR campaign becuase my players want it but I know nothing about the FR that isn't in NWN. I plan on ordering the campaign setting book from chapters but I will take like 2 weeks to get here. Can someone please just tell me what part of the realms you would find lots of kobold (if they arn't everywhere) and name of a village in that reigon. I would prefure if the region was temperate unlike the enviroments in NWNs (Frozen, Desert and Underground). If kobolds arn't in any none temperate regions can you just tell me the name of a temperate region and the game of a village in it. I dont want to have to wait 2 weeks just to start planning the first adventure. |

I'd stick them in the Underdark, arid regions (that you said you wanted to stay away from) and really big forests. After all, gnomes and kobolds don't get along well at all, and gnomes are pretty forest-oriented. So, maybe Cormanthyr, the High Forest, the Luirwood, or someplace like that? Those are all pretty big forests, it'd be easy to stick a roving kobold band or tribe in there, as well as a small village of humans or elves, no real trouble at all. Good luck with your campaign man. |

Vilhon reach also has kobolds as does etc etc.... If you are trying to stay away from cold areas, Lands of intregue, Vilhon Reach (much savhana envionment, but not all). It's kind of hard to say where you should start, so many good areas on faerun, I'd hate to start you somewhere only to find there is little or no 3/3.5ed support for said area. |
