Starting package for Silverymoon [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-05-05, 10:51 PM I made the mistake of loaning out my FR Campaign Setting book, I've been getting a character ready for a new game, and I was curious if someone would mind looking up the starting choices for a character from Silverymoon. Also is this choice of gear free for all characters from the area, or is it just for 'favored classes'? I ran across that term in the errata tonight when I was looking around for a site that could help me.

FRCS: Chondathan and Illuskan as free languages.
Bonus languages are: Dwarven, Elven, Giant, Illuskan (that's kind of stupid when it's a free language!), Midani, Orc, Sylvan.
Feats: Blooded, Education, Smooth Talk, Survivor.
Items: MW longsword or MW rapier or MW longbow.
MW chain shirt.
MW studded leather and a 2nd level scroll.

3.5 version: They dropped the Illuskan as a free language. They dropped Midani as a bonus language. They dropped survivor as a feat. And they dropped the MW chain shirt.

As for the classes, I'd say that is open to all of them.....

10-05-05, 11:22 PM I really appreciate it. You've been loads of help. Now I can finish working on my paladin, we're doing a point buy for stats and average starting gold, so he'll be done in a half hour!
