Dezrin 08-21-03, 04:16 PM	I know this is probably a stupid question, but me and my husband are somewhat new to D&D. We have played table-top 3e in the past, but not for very long. We are about to play a FR Campaign and I'm not quite sure what the differences are? Are there any or is FR just a campaign? Are there special rules we need to know to create our characters? Any help would be appreciated. :D :D
Mr. Wilson 08-21-03, 04:26 PM	Well, the difference between the FR and regular DnD is that regular DnD is like a generic setting, whereas FR is a detailed in Depth Setting. FR allows you to play as more races (various kinds of Elves, Dwarves, Halflings, Planetouched, etc.) I know that it's expensive, but the $40 you would dish out to buy the FRCS (Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting) is worth it, especially if you want to start in a pre-generated world, where you don't have to create everything.
