| ORC_Paradox09-12-06, 07:23 AM | Okay, currently I'm settling into my new role as moderator for this area, and I have to re-aquint myself with it. So, if there are any questions you'd like to ask, feel free to post them here. (For the time being. I've got a lot of catching up/reorganizing to set up.) Let's get the obvious one out of the way. No, I wasn't "busted down". My regular job keeps me too busy to manage the team at this time, but I've got enough time to watch over you guys. :) (I work overnights, and it's not fair to them that I'm not available during "normal" working hours. |
| Delzounblood09-12-06, 05:14 PM | Dox Could you check out my main thread and add to it if you can help out at all? Book O' Ye Stout Ones Tiptop |
| Lord Karsus09-15-06, 11:52 PM | -I've got a question. Where'd WizO_Lyoness go? It's not that I miss her (Actually, I didn't like her much, between you, me, the wall, and everyone else who reads this), but I was just wondering why she's not a WizO anymore. |
| ORC_Paradox09-16-06, 12:41 AM | Her schedule was too busy for her to continue. |
| Dark Wizard09-16-06, 01:13 AM | Hello WizO Paradox, welcome. Hopefully the same situation of being busy won't affect you soon. We haven't had a steady WizO for a while. I appreciate that you opened up channels for constructive discussion about the setting, the perception of FR, and the interactions between settings. It's gone fairly peacefully so far. I think the official presence of a WizO keeps a lot of the hotheaded answers from getting posted and encourages people to express meaningful opinions and thoughts. I do have a question/request. I noticed you tidied up the Ask the Authors and Designers thread. A few of the questions on the last page haven't been answered yet. Could you leave a note for the designers to check that thread and answer any questions they can before moving on to the new Ask Authors thread? Thanks. |

| Zanan09-16-06, 06:09 AM | I know in 2nd edition D&D Drow lost thier inate magic and MR on the surface, does Drow in the 3.5 system with time stil lose thier inate spells and SR? Well, this thread wasn't meant to ask rule-questions, I would assume. It is more about board orga and all. As to the question, no, in 3RE drow do not lose any of their abilities on the surface, while their drowcraft (special ability, described in Underdark) may disintigrate when exposed to sunlight. WizO_Paradox ... any news on WizO_BigSister? |

| GothicDan09-16-06, 08:56 PM | No, Zanan is not. She's merely been on these boards long enough to understand the primary position of WizO's - they are morderators, not repositories of lore. Well, I'm not saying that they CAN'T be, but that's not their primary purpose. (<3 for the Drow woman.) |
| Lord Karsus09-17-06, 09:19 PM | -Word, directed towards Dan. -Thanks, Dox, for the answer, by the way. And, yes, what is the status on BigSister? We all miss her here. |
| ORC_Paradox09-18-06, 08:29 AM | I haven't heard from Big Sis in a while. As for rules questions, I never really try to pass myself off as THE only official source for information. You guys have each other and most of the time, your answers are right on. To me, the following would cover just about any rule question you have: "It's up to the DM". |
| Jiggawha09-20-06, 03:50 AM | Hi Dox, I have a plea of technical matter if it's not a problem. Could you, please, reduce down those enormous quotations in Realms NPC Characters II (in the last two pages) to understandable yet not that annoying size. Thanks |
| Cli' San Aquanova09-20-06, 04:48 PM | (<3 for the Drow woman.) Quoted for emphasis. She's a valuable part of the FR area. As for the topic at hand... Doxxie! How the hell have you been, you old son of a gun? I see you occasionally in the Rec Room, but it's been a while since I've really seen you on a consistant basis. |
