I'm looking for any information people may have on this unknown, rare, and perhaps only mythical tome. From what i can gather it is or was or is supposed to be a Book of the Dead or something... I have no clue if such a tome may Exists in the realms or not. Merely working on second had information. I thank you for your time.... and please prove to me that my fear of this Board (and it's members) is unfounded....

The Book of Dis could be a Greyhawk thing, but I could easily be mistaken.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here.
I think I remember this accesory made by a third party publisher sometime around 1992.
I cant recall the publisher's namebut I think the name started with a B.... (Bulvarian Press, Bakliva Press, Can't remember)

They were doing acceseries for many of the outer planes.

If my memory is wrong, and it very well can be, It may have been a planescape accesory from TSR.
Or, it may be a new accesory from Green Ronnin.

It's not a Planescape accessory, unless it was one printed in Dungeon. Fires of Dis is the only adventure from Planescape.

Well, I guess that counts the planescape thing out.

I am more inclined to believe it is the 3rd party accesory I mentioned.

Being a third party book, it will be hard to find.
2nd hand book stores will probobly be the best bet, never know a 30something may find their DnD collection and deside to sell it to pay for gas for thier SUV.

The Book of Dis I'm aware of is in the (excellent) Gygax/Creffield Slayer's Guide to Undead.
