Vaxgar Kharhaz 08-07-03, 06:06 PM	I was reading The Crystal Shard again the other day, and when I came upon Errtu I had one question. Does it any were say what specific type of demon he is? If not does any one know? He sounds like he could be one of 3. I believe he is a Nalfeshnee (from the 3.5book), any known for sure? Vax
Kilthius 08-07-03, 06:23 PM	He is definately a Balor - they say as much in the novel (or in several of them), as well as the old 2nd ed Villain Lorebook. However, his sword would probably have the Shock quality added to it.
cwslyclgh 08-07-03, 08:05 PM	he was a balor, and not a particluarly smart or powerful one, he can be found listed in the 1e dungeonmasters guide as one of the known type 6 demons (the type 6 demons became "balors" in 2e, named after another one of those original 6)
