The dusk lord [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-02-04, 02:54 PM I was wondering if there was a sourcebook containing stat details of the dusk lord of Sessrendale before i started creating him myself. My camplain involves the return of the long lost mage of Sessrendale and i need to flesh him out.

Any info would be appreciated.

01-02-04, 05:34 PM He was never fleshed out. That is a small tid-bit of FR history that is interesting, but never talked about too much. I'm sure that if you did create the NPC, that people might be interested on the stats. There are always rabid FR fans out there that would prefer not to do any work.

If it can be helpful to some, i could post the result of my work here.

Form what i gathered in my research, the Dusk Lord was an arch mage accused of necromancy and unfair trade by Archendale but nothing was ever proven by anyone. The only thing clear is that great magic was involved in the final confrontation. Elminster, in the second edition box set, mentioned that 3 arch mages were destroyed for nothing. He seems to say the Dusk lord was not evil.

The new edition says that 1372 mark the apparition of a curse in Archendale. Each family that had a soldier take part in the war will have a member die. It has begun. The revenge of the dusk lord...nice title:)

Thats about all i have to work on. It should be interesting to fill the rest:)
