Aleolus 01-20-08, 11:27 AM	OK, a friend of mine told me he saw a thread on the 4th Ed forums about a thing called the Spell Plague, which eats away at and destroys magic and magical creatures. I was under the impression that he found it on this board, since he is using it in a Forgotten Realms setting, but I haven't been able to find it. If anyone knows the thread he was mentioning, if you could please link it here, thanks. The search feature has been just about useless, unfortunately.

That's an inaccurate description. The Spellplague is an event that occurs when Mystra is killed and the Weave winds up being destroyed--therefore, raw magic breaks free of its bonds. Beyond that, we don't really know exactly what the Spellplague does, but doesn't seem to be a "disease" so much as a phenomenon.
