The underdark, need info. [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-12-04, 08:38 AM Hey guys. I was reading the realms sourcebook, in the geography chapter. I am currently running a realms underdark campaign, and i was intruiged by something i read. I cant quite remember what it was but it had something to do with a band of skeletal dwarves called the something reckoning or something like that. I need info on this because im planning on basing an adventure on them, so if anyone has any info , it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.

03-12-04, 11:51 AM I have the Underdark book, and have read it cover to cover, but while I could be wrong I don't think I am, but I don't remember anything about a band of skeleton dwarves running around. But in my campaign there is a band of high level barbarian dwarves who are intelligent Shadows. They where killed in the depths of Mitril Hall sortly after the war against Menzoberrazan, taken out by overwhelming numbers of Shadows. But slowly, by gifts of Muradin and Clangidenn Silverbeard they where reawakened. So they are minimume of 7th level Dwarven barbarians, with one or two dwarven clerics or at least 10th level, who habben to be Shadows (Using the Umbral Creature template from Savage SPecies, then three levels of the Emancipated Spawn monster PrC.) Feel free to use them, or make them evil, they could of been freed by Deep Durga, or even by Lloth or Kiarasanlee as some vile joke.

Just another tidbit of imformation, the lone surviving member of these unfortunat souls was may charecter who was leveld rained to 1 level before being rescued, he is now a barbarian cleric of Clangidenn, if you turned that group evil, and he found out about it, his life's quest would be to hunt them down and destroy them. To free their souls. But he's so scared of undead he doesn't think straight when he sees them, and Barbarian rages instead of turning or casting. Again, if this itnrest you, feel free to use them in your world, or anyones. (Just don't make money on it, or ya gotta pay me! :schemes: ;)

03-16-04, 10:13 AM yeah, i read it once more and it is called the dead reckoning. its under the rumor section of the geography chapter in menzoberranzan . I dont know? ill just have to play around with myself and make up their stats and such. thanks anyway man!
