After reading it you could already have a couple ideas for a campaign. After that, if the region you choose has a regional book, try to find it because they give a great deal of lore for that zone. |

Tehy didnt have any adventures for forgotten realms but I am thinking of doing a mercenary campain, with a neutrual/evil setting. Based on real life companies like blackwater and other mercernaries. + a litle thieving and assassination. both "good" and evil things. |

It is a series of adventures and adventure hooks set in the area of the Moonsea North - a place of ambiguous alignment. Even if you do not use the adventures as written (like I do), they will give you plenty of maps and ideas. Also, because of the 'hazy' alignment of the region, a party of mercenaries can find plenty of work, and they can shift back and forth between good or evil employers, or even neutral ones. Since it's still Forgotten Realms, you can bring in just about anything else you like about the Realms, and since it's the Moonsea, you don't have to worry so much about right and wrong - just having fun. |

Sorry to hear about the Maps Marcus, they were, I must say excellent. why not speak to someone at Wizards to see if they could host them, maybe a way around the copyright issue. |

Thats sound advice. I would recommend if you can get them some 3e books like Magic of Faerun, Races of Faerun and Lords of Darkness for some overall info. Plus, Lost Empires of Faerun and Grand History are good. |
