Tiefling [Archive] - Wizards Community

09-01-03, 10:43 PM Hi. I am new to D&D and my cousin who is playing with me just made a new char. He made a tiefling rogue. I do not have the forgotten realms book yet so i was hoping somebody could tell me some specifics. how tall they are how they are in groups. also just general info about how they got to this world thx a lot :)

09-01-03, 10:59 PM Tieflings are the descendents of an evil outsider and a human. The outsider could be anything from a demon, to a devil, to a night hag, or any other outsider with the (evil) subtype. They aren't half-bloods, however (At least not from the evil outsider. 2 Tieflings produce Tiefling offspring). Their evil lineage could lay dormant for generations. Or they could be the offspring of the offspring of a half-demon (Essentially a fourth-demon).

They use the same height and weight as humans. But I can't post the racial traits due to copyright laws.

09-03-03, 04:07 AM well, mostly yer true but yer so short:

Tieflings are desented from evil outsiders and aasimars are desented from good outsiders. They don't need to be human, however, FRCS tells so. Fey'ri's are elvish tieflings and all of them are sun elves, they have a long story. Tanarruks are orcish tieflings which very powerful and intelligent to most orcs.

Another thing to learn about the Planetouched, dano_zor- they have a heck of a lot of confusion and controversy!

In all, it's up to the DM to decide if Aasimar, Tieflings, Genasi, or any other kind of Planetouched only come from human stock, or from any kind of race. I rule that they're human descendents (As humans seem to have a superior cross-breeding gene, that explains why there seems to be a half-human everything).

But, let's not turn this thread into a Planetouched debate... ;)
