| johnis01-25-06, 02:12 PM | Hello there everyone. I am a Greek Dm playing 3rd edition D&D and I have a surprise for my players: They don\t know yet but they are playing during the Time of Troubles. So how can I get information (with details) about what happened exactly, where who played part etc. I know the claasic story about the Triad and Bane and the stuff about Helm (generally what is written in 2nd and 3rd edition Campaign Settings) but is there a book or a novel where all of the Gods' stories are discussed? Thanx a lot |

There's the three modules based on the three novels as well, which go by the same names. :) Otherwise there's scattered references in many other sourcebooks about who was where, etc. For Duty & Deity explains what happened to Waukeen. Faiths & Avatars, Powers & Pantheons, and Demihuman Deities details some of the other events. The old FR comics do as well, but Demihuman Deities, etc, summarizes those events. |

| GothicDan01-25-06, 05:56 PM | Ed Greenwood did not write any of the books in the Avatar Trilogy, and in fact he and his home players completely ignored the changes made in the trilogy (including the new Midnyte/Mystra, Kelemvor, Cyric, etc. thing). |

| GothicDan01-26-06, 11:49 AM | If that was what he meant, then I take it back. If not, then I don't. :) |
| ZolDarklock02-06-06, 03:38 PM | The Avatar triology only involved a few dieties, the rest of the realms had in my opinion more interesting battles between dieties, literally several dozen at least, the mulhorandi & Untheric panteons had some real good god-king battles going on, of course these gods knew how to be mortal gods, it was a normal day thing to them |
| Faraer02-06-06, 03:59 PM | And see "The Avatar Trilogy: The Gods Walk Toril" (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=books/fr/deitytrouble) and the Shadow of the Avatar trilogy. |
