Hi all,

I'm starting a new campaign and I would like the overarching theme to be quantum-leap like. (remember that old show... I know I just dated myself)

Anyway, here's the plan: So as to avoid any major temporal changes I want to send the PC's back as the impetus behind the fall of several civilzations. (They're eveil, they'll like it)

I'll send them back to the time of the crown wars and have them pick (or escalate) a some political mistrust between 2 major elf kingdoms, and just as they realize what they've done, jump forward in time.

I thought I'd send them through Nethril on a spell compnent quest for one of Karsus' many minions so Karsus can cast his world changing spell.

First, does it sound do-able to you guys and second, can you give me some more ideas on kingdoms to destroy.

I've got how to get them there already. They're going to steal a time travel device from an Ilithid (wow that chapter in the abberations book about the beginings of the ilithids is frightening). I figured since they brought back their whole race they may have spells or devices on hand that could bring back one or two no problem. (tell me if I'm wrong)

This is just me brainstorming, but I can't really bounce the idea off my players.

I read the anvil of time adventure and I thought about using it, but it's wrtten for Krynn. Has anyone gone through the trouble of adapting it for Faerun? Was it worth it?

Let me know. Just wanted to do something different than save the princess, and kill the lich for once.
