| Darien_Ashoka11-05-07, 11:57 PM | I am placing my players in a FR campaign, and it takes place while Drizzt is in The Underdark, running around passages for a decade and whatnot. I need to know the years in which the book Exile took place in. Thanks a bunch! |
| Borris11-06-07, 12:05 AM | The novel Exile begins in 1338 and ends in 1340. |

They are going through a dungeon that leads to the Underdark, and there is a chance that they will run into his turf if they wander far enough. Besides, in my campaign, Drizzt never escaped the Underdark; he continued to run around around and by the end of the Exile, he was compleyely insane, taking on only predatory instincts. He's A barbarian Fighter, and is Chaotic Neutral with Evil Tendencies, and he doesn't speak. In essence, Drizzt, in my campaign, is no longer Drizzt: he is the Hunter. Which is why it would make a great fight...... Didn't Drizzt wander the Underdark for 10 years in that novel? How would it be 1338 to 1340? |

As of the newest OFFICIAL timeline, Drizzt becomes 'the Hunter' in 1328 DR when he flees Menzoberranzan, and stops being 'the Hunter' in 1338 DR when he arrives in Blingdenstone. And I like your take on Drizzt, BTW. ;) |

| DMD11-06-07, 10:20 PM | I had my players in Menzoberranzan when Drizzt, Cattie Brie and Artemis escaped. They did not encounter them but witnessed the stalactite crash into the roof of House Baerne. It was pretty neat. |
| Darien_Ashoka11-07-07, 03:15 PM | I like that....right as the stalagtite crashed! |
| DMD11-07-07, 08:04 PM | Yeah I was running the adventure from the 2E Menzoberranzan Boxed Set which I always thought was pretty good. |
