A huge, catclismic storm has raged over the Dalelands, destroying much, hammpering travel, and generally meaning that people have become stuck in the Dalelands. Then to make matters worse the Drow raids intesify, until in the deapths of the night a tenday after the storm, an army of drow pour out of Cormanthor and destroy Shadowdale, throwing the allready shook up dalelands into chaos, the Drow raids continue and a perpetuall cloud of fear hangs over the once peaceful dalelands. The strangest thing about all this though?, the Strom still rages over Myth Drannor, and a number of strange lights can be seen coming from this fell city. Anyway the start of the campeign is that the PC's come to the dalelands, and are asked by some powerful character in the dalelands to head into Cormanthor and investigate what is happening and report back to them. So any ideas about this campaign idea would be appricated
Gotrex 07-11-04, 02:13 PM	I think it would be quite interesting if the drow were attacking the dales out of panic there is a lot of old powerful stuff in myth drannor such as the phaerimm and various devils/deamons could be that they have put some sort of plan into action and the drow are running for there lives could maybe have the PCs find out about this by having them find lots of slaughtered wood elves / elliastree drow and then find some still alive or maybe dieing but still able to talk and have them fill the PCs in though i dont know how high level your PCs are so this might be inapropriate since it will have to be somthing pretty powerful to force the drow to launch a frontal assault on a place elminster and storm will be defending
