| Lord Karsus11-26-06, 06:39 PM | -To recap thus far... -Now, we have an old undead Tressym from Mulhorand that worshipped Sehanine Moonbow, who was tragically killed when his friend, a lightning bug from Neverneverland became jealous of his copy of the Draconomicon, hid caltrops in his bracers, and dropped them into said Tressym's bed while he slept. -Daerian Sunstar learned of this vile plot, and informed one of the mother of one of the Selu'Taar. She became annoyed, and with a flick of her wrist, she created mosquitos that not even a greatclub could squash. It was a fantasically comical scene- one that drinking a swig of Elminster's Best could only produce. -Direbats suddenly appeared from the skies, to eat the mosquitos. The bats were wearing weirwood buttons with the word, "Shiallia for Senate" witten upon them- apparently, it was election time in the Heavens. It seems that Shallia had the intelligence to electioneer in a district near the ocean, which theoretically should help her out. -It's getting stranger and stranger, folks... |

That sort of thing. :) |

Not only do I not like the "Breadbasket" of the country too much, but you do not like baseball...Therefore, I would not listen, and the point of teaching me would be moot. :P And see, I was thinking that your enjoyment of baseball would help you learn these loans front to back, because you have obviously shown your ability to sit through anything. :P And I don't like this part of the country too much either. I wanted to move to the Southwest after I graduated. I love Arizona and New Mexico...hate wintertime. But I met a girl here, and she had a house and a good job here, and... well I'm sure you can figure out the rest. :weep: By the way, the forecast today in Phoenix is Sunny with a high of 75. Meanwhile, we have mostly cloudy, high of 48. Chance of snow tonight and tomorrow. I don't know why I do that, it always ticks me off. :weep: |
| Lord Karsus12-06-06, 09:35 AM | And see, I was thinking that your enjoyment of baseball would help you learn these loans front to back, because you have obviously shown your ability to sit through anything. :P -Ah, loans are good things to understand. Alright, I'll listen. :) And I don't like this part of the country too much either. I wanted to move to the Southwest after I graduated. I love Arizona and New Mexico...hate wintertime. But I met a girl here, and she had a house and a good job here, and... well I'm sure you can figure out the rest. :weep: -Well, if she had a good job, and a house, then take her with you when you go! :P -I understand though. Nothing like being stuck somewhere you really don't want to be. |
| ShadezofDis12-06-06, 09:39 AM | ShadezofDiz/TheShapeLessOne. All of a sudden this seems to be a huge issue that I never had before. Oh don't worry, I've played to many "good guys" to approve of the waton slaughter of those pesky dark elves ;D And in all honesty I don't really mind the drow, I'm being a bit tongue in cheek :) |
| Noxweather12-07-06, 03:11 AM | Drow ftw! Thanks :) 47. A creature that has a breath weapon (not dragon) |

| GothicDan12-07-06, 03:21 AM | Winter! (I should be sleeping now...) |
| Noxweather12-07-06, 03:33 AM | Winter! Thanks again. :) A city somewhere outside faerun? |
| BadCatMan12-07-06, 03:36 AM | How far outside? Perth, Western Australia. That's about as far away from anywhere as any city can get. If we're still on Toril, then I'll say Cimbar (assuming that's outside the borders of Faerun). |
| Ramenth12-07-06, 04:49 AM | Palanthas, on Kyrnn |
| johnkretzer12-07-06, 01:02 PM | Thanks again. :) A city somewhere outside faerun? If you mean just outside of the general area Karatin(Kara-Tur) If you mean any city then Sharn (Eberron) If you don't want Eberron then Sigil (Planescape) |
| Melblen_Cairn12-07-06, 04:19 PM | OMG please hurry up and tell us what your about here  funny thread though. |
| Mesraic12-07-06, 04:42 PM | Seriously so wha the heck is going on here? |
| JaiaDrottsingr12-07-06, 05:13 PM | I like you. All though I think it is funny you can dislike someone because they happen to not like a fictional race. No one understands online sarcasm when it's not in asterisks. :raincloud |
| THETUNNELRAT12-07-06, 07:20 PM | City of Brass is this far enough away from faerun:devil: |
| THETUNNELRAT12-07-06, 07:23 PM | Seriously so wha the heck is going on here? :88E: :gah: Don't ask that are you tring to blow up the world. |
| The ShapeLess One12-07-06, 08:55 PM | No one understands online sarcasm when it's not in asterisks. :raincloud Sorry It is just hard to express sarcasm w/o asterisks. It is that its just text there really is no emotion behind it. I would say Sigil. |
| Noxweather12-09-06, 04:45 PM | How far outside? Perth, Western Australia/Cimbar. Thanks :) 50. A faerun specific spell? |

| Penknight12-09-06, 10:57 PM | 51. Favorite type of weather?Drizzling ever so slightly, while a low mist clings to the ground, concealing all from sight. And you aren't quite sure if the stone buildings around you are weeping, or if it is merely the rain slowly running down the pitted surface... Ok, I miss playing Ravenloft. :D |
| Penknight12-09-06, 10:58 PM | -I like your enthusiasm...Would you like to join my cult?*sharp intake of breath* Ooh, sorry. The elves and I are planning on stealing back the Nether Scrolls this evening. Maybe later?? :) |
| Lord Karsus12-09-06, 11:08 PM | *sharp intake of breath* Ooh, sorry. The elves and I are planning on stealing back the Nether Scrolls this evening. Maybe later?? :) -I like Elves. During my subsequent fall from divinity, I realized that the Elves have it all right. Well, me and KtM will be waiting for that call. We offer pretty good medical benefits, so don't just blow us off, alright? ;) |

| Noxweather12-13-06, 04:56 PM | -288, Year of Eight Lightnings Thanks (Is it real/canon?) :) 54. A cherished memory? |
| Penknight12-13-06, 05:16 PM | Thanks (Is it real/canon?) :) 54. A cherished memory? From a gamer's standpoint? Watching the Dungeons & Dragons cartoon with my dad as a kid growing up on Saturday mornings. Man, I miss those years. If you mean more personal, then my dad telling me stories before bedtime that he would make up. He never knew about D&D really until I started playing it big time back in 1999. So in a way, he was my first DM. I still fondly remember those stories and think back on them to this day. :) |

| vezina12-14-06, 03:42 PM | Charisma! |
| ShadezofDis12-14-06, 04:09 PM | Charisma! Yep, the ability to convince someone else to do for you is worth all the 18 str's in the world. The runner up would be intelligence. |
| vezina12-14-06, 04:30 PM | Yep, the ability to convince someone else to do for you is worth all the 18 str's in the world. The runner up would be intelligence. My thoughts exactly. :D |
| Penknight12-14-06, 06:23 PM | Charisma!Again, a second for that. But to break monotony, I'll say... Intelligence. An intelligent guy can always manipulate a likeable guy (who isn't that bright) into doing what he wants. After all, nerds rule the world!! Yeah!! Um, not that I'm a nerd. I've just heard things. Yeah, that's it... just heard things. ;) |
| vezina12-14-06, 06:30 PM | Hey, I never said that my intelligence wouldn't be high in that situation. I'd just choose charisma for the 18. ;) Nothing more frightening than a brilliant person that can get their point across like no one's business. :D |
| Penknight12-14-06, 06:44 PM | Hey, I never said that my intelligence wouldn't be high in that situation. I'd just choose charisma for the 18. ;) Nothing more frightening than a brilliant person that can get their point across like no one's business. :DLOL, all right. I see your point. It's like... your smart and likeable. "Almost reminds me of... me. Now I know I hate him." Thank you Doc Holliday for that line. :D |
| johnkretzer12-15-06, 12:40 AM | 55. If you could have an ‘18’ in an attribute which would you choose? Well I already have 18 in all of my stats... Ok I only have a Ego of 18.. In all serious probably Con. Being healthy can lead to other stats being high. |
| Ramenth12-15-06, 08:37 PM | Definitely Charisma. |
| The ShapeLess One12-15-06, 11:05 PM | I would go with constitution. So I can live longer and feel better then everyone because I would be healthy. |
| Aratharn12-16-06, 01:53 PM | charisma of course, then i would get every hot girl;) |
| Omnirahk, half-Rahkshi12-17-06, 08:18 PM | Assuming we get to keep all current stats and just change one to 18, charisma. Maybe constitution. Already content with most of my stats. Although an 18 in wisdom could be useful. Said by somebody with wisdom as his dump stat. |
| johnkretzer12-20-06, 02:19 AM | I want know what this is about so I figure I'll give it a bump so :bump: |
| wesleytj12-21-06, 02:38 PM | come on nox, how long you gonna keep us hanging here? |
| Lord Karsus12-21-06, 07:13 PM | come on nox, how long you gonna keep us hanging here? -I second that. Do I have to Dominate you, and rip the reason from your ensnared mind? There are people here who will vouch for me- I use magic indiscriminantly, and even when it is not neccessarily needed...;) |
| BadCatMan12-21-06, 09:50 PM | While we're waiting for Noxie, I'll try one of my own: B1) Something to do in a tavern/inn/bar? |
| JaiaDrottsingr12-21-06, 10:24 PM | While we're waiting for Noxie, I'll try one of my own: B1) Something to do in a tavern/inn/bar? Sleep with the bar maid. |
| johnkretzer12-21-06, 11:19 PM | Sleep with the bar maid. Same here though maybe bar maids. |
| MarkusTay6312-21-06, 11:21 PM | Wonder why this tavern looks exactly like the last 400 I started an adventure in. :D |
| Lord Karsus12-22-06, 12:24 AM | B1) Something to do in a tavern/inn/bar? -Shoot Greedo! :D |
| JaiaDrottsingr12-22-06, 08:17 AM | -Shoot Greedo! :D That'd be something to do in a cantina. And I don't mean a female water canteen. :shifty: |
| Noxweather12-22-06, 09:04 AM | Charisma! Thanks! Sorry to everyone for the long break. The holiday season is making life very busy at the moment. Will be hard to post over the next two weeks. (Now you have me thinking what would Greedo be in the realms?) Last Question! 56. Describe how some form of portentous manifestation (symbol or occurrence) could mark a child for great things later in life? Not a birthmark or something hackneyed like that, something more original. ;) |
| BadCatMan12-22-06, 09:07 AM | Mysterious old great-grandmother says so. (Actually happened. To me! No great things yet though.) |
| JaiaDrottsingr12-22-06, 09:25 AM | The blessing/curse in Eragon. |

| od_vjesala12-22-06, 10:42 AM | as a young lad invented a strange script, that seemed to change with the seasons thus making it impossible for anyone else but the boy to read and write it. |
| od_vjesala12-22-06, 10:47 AM | or maybe stark raving madness seemed to pounce out of his eyes at every glance. For gods sake his own mother abandoned him quite early!!! |
| od_vjesala12-22-06, 10:48 AM | csi is ok so is evidence that he did just that |
| wesleytj12-22-06, 11:03 AM | I hate CSI. I don't watch CSI. Why do you bring it up? Did they have that in an episode or something? |
| JaiaDrottsingr12-22-06, 11:08 AM | I don't watch CSI. Why do you bring it up? Did they have that in an episode or something? They put the Chimerea Syndrome in there. A theory, but very controversial. It states something like, "If a twin dies in the womb, it is possible that the other twin may absorb the DNA." |
| Lord Karsus12-22-06, 11:11 AM | That'd be something to do in a cantina. -Eh, they're all synonyms. |
| Lord Karsus12-22-06, 11:11 AM | (Now you have me thinking what would Greedo be in the realms?) -He'd be a Rodian. Just use the d20 stats from the Star Wars RPG book, and it's all good. |
| johnkretzer12-22-06, 04:18 PM | Thanks! Sorry to everyone for the long break. The holiday season is making life very busy at the moment. Will be hard to post over the next two weeks. Describe how some form of portentous manifestation (symbol or occurrence) could mark a child for great things later in life? Not a birthmark or something hackneyed like that, something more original. ;) Ah, a eclipse... or a being born on the extra day of a leap year, or being born on a night with a blood moon. etc. And if this really the last question? Meaning the next time you post you'll give us what this is all about? |
| Aratharn12-22-06, 04:21 PM | born the first of april like me:D |
| Omnirahk, half-Rahkshi12-22-06, 04:39 PM | A few possibilies: 1) His mother was bit by a ghoul before he was born. She succumbed and became a ghoul as her water broke, so he was born in between life and undeath. 2) See the origins of Senior Vorpal Kickasso from Goblins: Life Through Their Eyes (http://goblinscomic.com/d/20050903.html) on night of birth: a) terrible storm b) evil queen predicted he'd kill her on his 18th birthday c) mother died in childbirth AND d) all the wolves in the land howled simultaneously 3) Planetary alignment 4) At the exact moment of his birth, heroes slayed a powerful villain, who swore he would rise again. 5) As 4, but a goodly king/paladin/dragon/whatever died. Please pick number 4. I like its potential for the reincarnating of the villain. |
| BlueDove12-22-06, 10:09 PM | (I'd really like to at least have one part in this story, or whatever it is. Pick me, please) :) How about a child that is still born and as the mother gives up her life (due to grief and blood loss), the child draws breath and lives. Or it could always be born to a warrior maiden on the side of a mountain during an epic battle and picked, carried off, and raised by a soldier of the opposing force. :D |
| BadCatMan12-22-06, 10:20 PM | He only picks the first answer. :D I, however, will take all of them: * Sleep with bar maid(s) * Wonder why this tavern looks exactly like the last 400 I started an adventure in. * Shoot Greedo. Well, that's going to be an interesting campaign start. :) Here's another. B2) Name a classic type of FR adventure (ie kill the orcs/goblins, hunt the widget for the sage, etc). (What, I'm being lazy? Yep.) |

| MarkusTay6312-27-06, 11:26 AM | Or it could always be born to a warrior maiden on the side of a mountain during an epic battle and picked, carried off, and raised by a soldier of the opposing force. :DSomeone's been reading to much Wheel of Time I believe he wanted 'original' ideas. How about a "child that lived scenario" say, one of Selune's tears slams into a small town, and the only thing left at the bottom of the crater is a mewling infant. Oh, and for some crazy reason all the Thunder Lizards in Chult up and die. |
| Lord Karsus12-27-06, 09:27 PM | say, one of Selune's tears slams into a small town, and the only thing left at the bottom of the crater is a mewling infant. -That's crazy enough to work, and still be in proper continuity! How about the covering the tab till 1378, and that Dwe- er, Elarf Barmaid and this antique Netherpelter? Tell you what. 'Cause I'm nice, I'll also throw in one of KtM's Imaskari devices. Whaddya think? |
| MarkusTay6312-28-06, 03:32 AM | -Just remember that I have an unlimited checkbook. What would that be called? A checkbook of holding? A neverending Checkbook? Checkbook of the magi? :dancin: :D And I like MarkusTay63's idea. Herald anyone? Why thank you. |

| Lord Karsus12-28-06, 11:29 PM | -You've got yourself a deal. |
| MarkusTay6312-29-06, 02:43 AM | Whats an Elarf? |
| BrennonGoldeye12-29-06, 09:42 PM | Crudely known as Dwelfs, they are a clan of mixed heritage. They are the remainder of House Amberload. They once held a virtual monopoly on the organic stone trade in Sigil. They specilized in custom shades of ambers and carbon based gems grown in thier living arcane forges. They used their great wealth to spread joy and dance music with great clubs and bars in multiple planes. Their downfall came at the freckled hand of Spinkles Six-Toe, the warlock progeny of Graz'zt and a forest gnome druid. The family was forced to flee to the Realms. Now, forced to work in the clubs they once ruled over, they have become a bitter but well tipped lot.:D |

B6) A disaster, natural or otherwise. Merv Griffin is a entertainer from the 70's (Ithink) early 80's. He had his own show called the Merv Griffin Show(I might be misspelling it) HE also appeared in a Steve Martin movie called The Man With TWo Brains(a very funny movie) in which he had a cameo that lead to me mentioning him as a antagonist... Man I feel old. And the answear to B6 is: D&D games run though questionaires. :) |
| Blackheart01-04-07, 12:38 PM | It should be the moral duty of everyone on these boards to know what a giant Thanagarian Snare Beast is. |
| Lord Karsus01-04-07, 08:17 PM | It should be the moral duty of everyone on these boards to know what a giant Thanagarian Snare Beast is. -I've been a bad boy then... B6) A disaster, natural or otherwise. -Giving women the right to vote (Now, that was a disaster!) :D |
| Omnirahk, half-Rahkshi01-05-07, 10:23 AM | Giving women the right to vote (Now, that was a disaster!) :D :hides: I don't think that was an appropriate thing to say. Not at all. As for a disaster, I expect Lord Karsus will look like one after any women who read this are through with him. :rimshot: |

Everyone knows that I have a lot of interest in women, and I like 'em a lot! |

| JaiaDrottsingr01-15-07, 04:56 PM | It should be the moral duty of everyone on these boards to know what a Rabbit with Big Pointy Teeth is, esp. one that can swallow dynamite, Fly, and bite people's heads off. Also make sure to realize that "Exploding Rabbit" is a misnomer. EFT |

| BadCatMan01-15-07, 08:51 PM | Oh, hells, I thought we were all well and truly bored of this. Okay. After giving women the right to vote in Tilverton (possibly a cause of its subsequent obliteration), the Drizzits began to design their adventures and quests through random questions on forums. They were later massacred by a heavily armed contigent of men by insulting them by not responding to said questions and answers on time. Tale's done. And the final solution to Noxweather's questions (Sorry Noxie)... Are you designing your whole campaign here? Nope, you guys are! :) Well, not an entire campaign but these will all serve as keywords and ingredients in a lengthy character.background, hopefully. By the gods, I can't believe no-one else worked it out. I mean, it's pretty obvious, especially after what I kept leaking. Although it is an interesting experiment on the lengths people will go to on the internet. :D |
