*sigh*

The "search" feature is your friend.

There are already two recent threads on this.

I started the very first one about a year ago when this animated short debuted on the Showtime Next program, Piratenet, featuring the lovely Leeann Tweeden.

And yes, it is a fine piece of work.

Hey, we can't all be first.

Besides, I'm just happy that more folks are getting a chance to see this short.

After all, like I said before, this is the most I've seen people talk about Road to Mithril Hall in over a year.

What's there not to understand?

The Showtime cable network has a channel called "Showtime Next," not unlike their other channels "Showtime Action," "Showtime Beyond," etc.

Showtime Next had a weekly, counter-culture magazine show called Piratenet, which showcased extreme sports, animation, and the obvious cheescake (bikini babes, etc.)

One show was dedicated to various forms of animation. Two of the featured shorts were Road to Mithril Hall (traditional animation) and Genryu's Blade (flash animation).

This episode was on over a year ago, and Piratenet has long since been cancelled.

The lovely Ms. Tweeden now hosts another extreme sports show on Fox Sports called 5 4 3 2 1.

Oh, I see.

I'm just not at all familiar with premium channels. Too expensive for lower middle class folks such as myself.

Heh. We just switched to Direct TV because cable was getting outrageous.

Still kept the cable modem, though.

What really sucks is that all I want to watch on tv is the HBO specialty shows and use my cable modem. For that, I have to buy into all the other crap! My cable bill is astronomical. Digitial cable, extra cable channels, cable modem, and then a premium channel.....
