| kappa_nova711-14-03, 11:45 PM | Can someone please tell me the stats for the spirit folk, ghost elves, volodni & taer from Unapproachable East? |
| The Simbul11-15-03, 12:20 AM | Well yes I can, but there is currently a spell cast upon such information called: "copyrighted material", which I believe is a lawful-good supernatural mind-affecting ability of the Hasbro Publisher Executive Prestige class. |

| FineasBoggs11-15-03, 12:37 PM | I think ghost elves were in the last issue of Dragon, not UE. http://webpages.charter.net/acamphuysen/manshoon_mage_sigil.gif |
| ksu_bond11-15-03, 12:46 PM | thats correct I believe he was meaning the star elves (at least I think thats what they're called) |
| kappa_nova711-15-03, 07:58 PM | Originally posted by ksu_bond thats correct I believe he was meaning the star elves (at least I think thats what they're called) Well according to wizards, they're ghost elves |
| Ill11-15-03, 08:12 PM | Not in UE, they're not. They are quite clearly star elves. Anyway, we can't publish their stats, whatever subrace you want. |
| loki8711-15-03, 08:24 PM | If you don't want to pay full retail for the book, you can get it cheaper from Amazon or buy.com. Though personally, I like to support my local hobby store and don't mind paying more. Either way, buy it...it's a good sourcebook. |
| Gez11-15-03, 09:35 PM | I aim to serve. :D Star Elf (Medium Size Humanoid (Elf, Extraplanar)) * -2 Str, +2 Dex, -2 Con, -2 Int, +2 Cha: Star elves are graceful and funny, but frail and not that bright, actually. * Constant vision: Star elves have low-light vision, and since they have a lightbulb screwed on the forehead, have a constant source of light. This lightbulb is central to their daily life, for the color it shines is used for body language communication. Blue is for bored, green is for frightened, yellow is for hungry, red is for willing to mate, and music-emitting, blinking, and rainbow-hued is for "damn I'd better be stealthy now". * Trance: Star elves, like all elves, don't need to sleep to rest. Instead, they meditate while grazing on fresh, green grass. A star elf needs to graze for four hours to rest fully. * Favored Class: Commoner. A star elf's commoner class don't count when calculating multiclassing penalties. * Innate class levels: A star elf is considered wizard -9/bard -3/cleric -12 for purpose of progression in these classes and XP penalties. Volodni (Large Plant) * +12 Str, -8 Dex, -8 Int: Volodni are big hulking vegetables, with all that this implies. * Photosynthesis: A volodni have leaves instead of hair and feed by photosynthesis. He don't need to sleep, but must stay for 12 hours each day sitting in the sun. * Plant Traits: Immune to lotsa thing. * Favored Enemy: All volodni hate star elves with a passion, for they always try to chomp on their leaves. On the other hand, a dead star elf's lightbulb continue to shine for several hours, and so volodni like to kill star elves to get fresh lightbulbs to put in their leafy hair. Volodni gets a +1 bonus against star elves, see ranger. Spirit Folk (Medium Humanoid (Dwarf)) * +2 Con, -2 Dex, -2 Int, -2 Wis: Spirit folks are hearty, but they stumble clumsily, have perception troubles, and their memory is severely damaged. * Spirit: Spirit folks love drinking liquors and other strong spirits. They get a +6 racial bonus on their fortitude save against alcoholic poison. * Drunken Torpor: A spirit dude can't sleep, unless drunking himself to unconsciousness. To rest fully, a spirit dude need 2 gallons of strong spirit. Taer (Medium Monstrous Humanoid (Cold)) * +418 Int: They don't look like, but they really are genius. Too bad they don't know it. * Cold resistance 25: Yes, they like cold. * Fire vulnerability 25: The reverse of cold resistance: each round, they suffer an additional 25 points of fire damage. * Dead: Because of this, they are dead, which is really too bad. |

| FineasBoggs11-18-03, 02:45 PM | Posting stats here isn't a violation of copyright laws, maybe CoC, but not copyright laws. Fair Use indicates you can copy and give information to your friends without violating the law. What are the boards here but a group of friends getting together to discuss a common topic. Especially since the thread is only temporary and will be deleted at some point. Anyway, my 2cents. http://webpages.charter.net/acamphuysen/manshoon_mage_sigil.gif |

That's why whenever I quote a rulebook, I mention the book, and sometimes even the page number, and then set the quote off with italics. So far, no one has said anything about me doing that... |

Of course. I would like to thank all those involved in the producing of Unapproachable East for making my campaign experience richer. |
