UnCon is right around the corner. Does anyone have any events they'd like to run?

10-12-06, 09:26 PM I've never been sure what UnCon was all about. I missed last years events. What is UnCon exactly?

10-13-06, 12:39 AM It's an online game convention. Not just on the boards, either, there are some pretty kicking stuff going on in the chat rooms as well.

If anyone is running something for uncon, drop me a line with the following information:

Name of the event.

Start and end date of the event

Short one line description of the event

Longer description of the event, including any special rules

And any other information such as if you need any help running the event or with any setup. (Such as polls for voting.)

10-16-06, 01:55 PM It would sure be fun to have the FRCS community band together to participate in this UnCon event. Something FRCS related of course. :)

Any ideas? I may wish to participate as well, if the event corresponds to my specialties in the FRCS.

10-19-06, 12:47 AM Uncon is coming up quickly and there's still nothing on deck for the FR area.

Remember, it's not an "Event run by the WizOs", but by you guys.

10-19-06, 01:38 AM I just can't think of anything worthwhile or broad enough...

- Updating an old complex FR specific spell into 3e?
- Who has the best revision of the Simbul's stats? :P
- Create-a-Kingdom (tied into Realmslore or at least Realms flavored) in the format of Ed's excellent Border Kingdoms web articles?
- "Where's Volo?"
- "What would Khelban do?"
- "Which Lich?" trivia.
- 101 Manshoons, he had clones, what happened to all of them (aside from the ones that died), you get to decide!

Yeah, I'm scrapping the bottom of the barrel.

or should we do what we normally do- debate realmslore & flesh out NPCs & locations. This could be fun if several people can work on the "same page" and really put something worth while together. I'd like to flesh out a favorite spot of mine that never really was explained, save for a few vague rumors & passing mentions- the black pyramids of Ascore (and those dwarven warships of stone... :detect:
