Alright, I'm planning on running the Shattered Gates of Slaughtergarde mini-campaign and I'd like to set in the Realms. The book suggests tucking the Valley of Obelisks into the Nether Mountains, which seems a so-so plan. My question is whether anyone has any ideas about a better part of the Realms to set the campaign? I seem to recall the Nether Mountains are crawling with evil humanoids as well... maybe I could fold the campaign into Red Hand of Doom in this region as well. The Valley of Obelisks seems like a fair place for the hobgoblin war as well. Sorry to ramble... any thoughts on the Shattered Gates question are welcome.
