03-03-07, 04:40 PM Apparently Greyhawk is the people's favorite, and the Forgotten Realms is currently losing. :confused:

03-03-07, 10:50 PM FR use to be the favorite world for most, but the last decade of really ridiculous crap thrown into the FR gameworld from novelist and game world authors has moved them down the list of the majority of players

seems FR is undergoing the ole, it wasn't broke so lets pile on so much crap until we do break it scenario

considering that greyhawk was ommitted from the list until fans complained, FR's forthcoming loss could have been really embarassing, seems most Greyhawk fans were forced to vote OTHER

PS - it's our duty to vote the best world...I personally play in FR's world, but lately the official canon realms has gone to hell over the last decade, and personally I think greyhawk and dark sun are a more steady, reliable, and consistent world than FR is now

03-04-07, 02:06 AM The people who voted other could change their choice to Greyhawk. It seems that has happened as Other only accounts for a small percentage now and Greyhawk saw a jump. FR is still making a strong second showing on a site known for it's bias in favor of Greyhawk. What's surprising is the lack of support for Dragonlance and especially Eberron (where are those marketing dollars going?). Also the respectable numbers Dark Sun and Mystara are pulling in, but again that is probably an artifact of the sampling.

03-05-07, 12:22 PM Since the Paizo people know the Realms and Eberron are most popular, maybe a really low poll for the Realms on their boards would incite them to up the Realms content so as to recruit more Realms fans to their long-term, board-posting readership . . .
