| Kilrex05-10-07, 06:04 PM | Looking through the the new Drow of the Underdark book I found a bunch of nifty stuff. Liking all the new info and especially the monsters. I really like the sound of the Vril. But I am sad as there is no statistics block for them and no description of their stoneshift and shriek abilities or the vulnerabilities. Any help getting the info would be nice. Looking forward to making some NPCs. |

| Straploknight05-10-07, 08:17 PM | Yup, while not Relams centric I'd say its a worthy addition to general drow lore and can add some stuff to help flesh out the realmsian drow |

| ikki05-11-07, 02:53 PM | damn, sucks when such a great sci-fi (from 1870) concept is taken in as Vril, and turned into something entirely non-related to its original meaning... But then to really go ahead and introducing the coming race, the Vril-ya... now, that would throw the entire world upside down. But go ahead and read bulver-lyttons book. Especially the introduction may be really revolutionising... how noone with money had any chance in american politics in 1870... !!!! |
| Straploknight05-11-07, 09:34 PM | Always the possibility that the desgner has never heard of the Vril-ya, let alone 19th century sci-fi. These sorts of things happen with some amount of regularity. |
| Calmar05-12-07, 09:19 AM | Here is the Drow of the Underdark Errata (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/20070504a) detailing the vril. :) |
