| Tidrec07-11-05, 09:39 PM | I'm disappointed that the new Waterdeep supplement doesn't have a poster map inside. I'm trying to paste together the maps posted in the Map Gallery, but cosw4 doesn't match the scale of the other images and I'm having a heck of a time getting it to fit in Photoshop. Will there be a complete Waterdeep map in large format and 8 1/2 x 11 format? It will help my players immensely to see where they are when adventuring in the City of Splendors. |
| Tempus66507-12-05, 01:22 AM | Will there be a complete Waterdeep map in large format and 8 1/2 x 11 format? Since there wasn't one in the sourcebook itself, I guess not. I was also hoping for a takeout map, but now that I've been using the maps the way they are for a session or two I must say I enjoy these more. |
| The Axeman07-12-05, 12:20 PM | There is a foldout poster map in the 2nd editio "Volo's Guide to Waterdeep". |
| WotC_RichBaker07-12-05, 12:46 PM | I think DRAGON's going to publish the "stitched-together" map soon. Also, we may be able to make the PDF available through our website. | The Axeman07-12-05, 12:49 PM | That would be awesome. I really enjoy the 3.5 ed. map as opposed to the map in Volo's. I was just comparing the two. |
| Erik Mona07-12-05, 10:25 PM | We're working on trying to fit a Waterdeep poster map in Dragon #335 (which has several articles about the Realms and Waterdeep in particular), but it may slip to #336 depending upon some technical issues. We'll make a big announcement soon. --Erik Mona Editor-in-Chief Dragon & Dungeon |

| El Kabong07-14-05, 04:33 PM | IF it can be acquired, and one is looking for the quintessential maps for Waterdeep I recommend trying to find a copy of City System (circa 1988). *10* Poster Sized maps, that all overlap together to form a WALL SIZED MAP of Waterdeep. Detailed down to the very last back-alley and building in the City of Splendors. Hasn't changed that much in 15+ years, in fact, we still use mine in the campaign I run nowadays. The Volo's map, and the maps that came in City of Splendors 2E Boxed set and FR1 supplement are just sad by comparison. |

It is as big as my lounge floor, and i have a big lounge. One day I am going to have it tiled into a floor or something - it is such a beautiful map |
