The sharn are adept and monstrous sorcerers who worship the alliance of deities known as the Pentad—the elven deities Corellon Larethian and Sehanine Moonbow, the dwarven god Dumathoin, and the human deities Mystra and Oghma. The sharn are composed of a variety of different races, including elves, dwarves, humans, and centaurs, of fallen civilizations that willingly underwent magical transformations to turn themselves into sharn that they may better preserve their civilizations’ lore.[2] The sharn also prevent abuses of magic and fight against corruptions of the Weave.[4]

So, when the weave is destroyed the sharn go down the toilet... So what happens, do they revert to their original forms or do they simply die?

It really depends on how much of a retcon 4e will be, but I would say that they would all become 'normal' again. That means former Dark Elves will become Dark Elves, NOT Drow.

BTW, most of what you said really should have been in a spoiler. ;)

Another thing, my favorite character of the realms at the moment is Danilo Thann, what happens to him and his spellsong?? I find it sad that the novels i read showed a development in the characters that forseen a lot of good things, and now they are all going down... :(
i fell sad.

(sorry, but i dont know how to do that "spoiler" thing)

Most Sharn (those of High Moor) are sharn no more even before the spell plague.

The collapse of the weave will not cause any changes to the sharn that I'm aware of.

-Even though the Weave is disappearing, something will be taking it's place (literally, metaphysically, whatever) to enable spellcasting. That way, magical items, spells with extended durations (like this case), and so on continue to function.
