hi I am a diehard realms fan. i have been playing/runing since AD&D. And i was think what books would i most need for a good FR campaign?? i have the FRCS book, magic of faerun, monster manual of faerun, and the DM screen. what other books help a FR campaign? i known that Waterdeep: city of splendors, would be helpful for a campaign set in good old Waterdeep. but what other books?

One of the great things about the Realms is that you have your pick of regions. Think about where you'll be setting your campaign, and start from there. If you want to run a campaign in Waterdeep, I'd definitely get the City of Splendors sourcebook. If you're setting the campaign in Thay, you'd want Unapproachable East, and so on. Others include Shining South and Silver Marches.

If you want to send the group to the Underdark, I suggest the Underdark sourcebook, naturally.

If you'd like to be more specific with racial abilities, pick up Races of Faerun.

Faiths and Pantheons will clear up any questions concerning Toril's pantheons of gods.

The Players Guide to Faerun is a 3.5 update, and I think it's a must.

Champions of Ruin (and the upcoming Champions of Valor) might aid you in developing conflict and character depth in the campaign.

I think the Complete series is a great tool (Complete Warrior, etc.) for building diverse PCs.

Heroes of Battle will help with any large scale battles or warfare scenarios you might want to run.

You might even take a peak around some used bookstores for some old 2E boxes or accessories for some additional fluffy bits. Those places can be gold mines.
