The Gathering of the gods at the Dancing Place is mentioned in the timeline as happening in 720, The Year of the Dawn Rose, and is also mentioned in the creation of the Portals of the Triad (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/pg/20030507x). Does anyone know what this was or have any information on it? It seems to be pretty darn important, but I can find nothing on it. Thanks guys :).

The full story (as much as we know of it) is in FOR4 The Code of the Harpers (http://store.yahoo.com/svgames-store/tsr9390esd.html). The Dancing Place itself is in the High Dale and is described in Volo's Guide to the Dalelands (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/files/2/fr_downloads/tsr9524.zip).

In two sentences, several gods, including Eldath, Mielikki, Mystra, and Silvanus manifested there and along with several powerful mortals (I believe Elminster was there, of course) and founded the Harpers. It is a sacred grove with Divine protections on it that the attending priests can trigger in an emergency.
