A number of sources say that, in 1357, Escalant and Laothkund were conquered by a Thayan army assisted by fire elementals, and that this war placed the Wizards' Reach region largely under the Thayans' control. Even the Unapproachable East supplement doesn't say much more - it simply adds that the Red Wizards' control over the area decreases in practical terms the further one travels from Thay. Does anyone know if anything else has been said about events in Wizards' Reach since 1357? [Edit - Darn, I meant to post this in "People and Places"! Too many tabs open...] [Edit 2 - Since no one has replied here, and moderators have not moved the topic, I will repost this to the aforementioned forum.]
