| Borris10-10-06, 11:18 AM | Servant of the Shard is set in 1366. I'm not so sure about Promise of the Witch-King, but it apparently happens after the short story Wickless in the Nether from Realms of the Dragons, which is said to be happening in 1368. So Promise could be set anywhere between 1368 and, say, 1370. (I doubt RAS would ever get any closer than that from the Realms' current year, especially with a third book coming later) |
| BrianCritchley10-11-06, 02:19 AM | actually given that Entrei absorbed a shade it'll be post 1372. |
| Lord Karsus10-11-06, 01:05 PM | -Am I the only one who is constantly annoyed that none of RAS' novels are actually up-to-date? It's really annoying...Heh, for all we know, Drizzt could actually be dead at the current Realms date, having died years ago... |
| Davidw10-11-06, 05:11 PM | So I guess his forthcoming novel "Drizzt's Funeral" wouldn't come as a surprise to you then? :) |
