I know that we can't really post on novels (I read most of the official posts about it, I couldn't figure out what can be posted), so I am wondering where can I go for novels? Where is a new forum (elsewhere) where novel posting can be done?

I'm sure this will probably be closed for some reason or another.

I don't think WizO_the_Hutts statement (http://boards1.wizards.com/showpost.php?p=9526951&postcount=4) was exclusive to any one board since they've mentioned it on the Eberron boards (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=672360) as well.

So novel discussions should be ok here as long as people keep it civil.

Having said that, the Candlekeep forums are an excellent place to go do it, since many FR authors frequent it (likewise Dragonlance.com for DL author sightings).

Well think about it like this: what's better, asking a question here and receiving an answer from another reader or asking a question at Candlekeep and maybe getting an answer from the person who actually wrote the book.

Authors really visit that place? I wanna join but I just recently joined here, and I got tons of forums to attend to already. I dont wanna get tied up with one then forget others. Though yeah, maybe Ill check out the novel section there, since I plan to go reading past RAS books in the FR(Im more of a DL fan)... thus, I got tons of questions.

If only they have a section for DL or WotC novels there.

Elaine Cunningham is a regular, and I've seen many others.

Margaret Weis, Richard Knaak et al are seen often at Dragonlance.com

And all of the Eberron authors visit the Worldsofdnd.com forums.

Also, and a little off-topic, if there's something you need to ask Gary Gygax he has a series of threads for that purpose over at En World.

The latest is here: http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=167680

You might also consider asking on the www.rasalvatore.com message boards. I know Paul Kemp (author of the Erevis Cale books and others) is very good about reading that board. Other authors frequent the site as well.
