| Hva03-06-06, 04:09 AM | Hello! I recently bought the Shackled City Campaign, and its a great campaign with one flaw as I see it. Its not placed in FR!! If any of you know this item, where would you place it in FR?? For those of you that do not know it; The whole campaign situates around a city placed in a long daed volcano crater. The surroundings are mostly jungle. Its described as frontier land. I know that Chult is described as "jungly" ( im not a native english-speaker so excuse my engrish). I also thought nabout the Savage frontier, but according to my knowledge that would be far to North and thus cold. Please help....... and Thanks if you do :) |

You could also place it somewhere in Maztica, if you are looking for a South American kind of spin on the campaign. |
| Evergreen_Aldaron03-06-06, 08:35 AM | Chult is a nice spot, around one of the Peaks of Flame. As Lord Karsus mentioned, Maztica is also a nice possiblility. The Pelankal Mountains in Far Payit is surrounded by forest. Either way, I think you have a winner! |
| Gallameed03-06-06, 09:37 AM | I ran it just south of the Lake of Steam. :) Placed Cauldron just near the eastern side of the Jundarwood, the area is volcanic and dinosaurs can be there. The border kingdoms can be used to house the surrounding areas. |
| ericlboyd03-06-06, 09:51 AM | For purposes of the Age of Worms conversion I'm doing for Paizo, I've placed the Spire of Long Shadows in the Chultengar. Therefore, I'm assuming that Cauldron lies in the Sancrach Mountains south of Narubel, along Narubel Pass. Nominally it's part of Thindol, but for all intents and purposes it's independent. It's a cool book filled with some nice fluff, however. |

Oh the tragedy :( For the churches/gods I used: Cuthbert = Red Knight with the npc paladin being a member of the Order of the Red Falcon. Pelor = Lathander Kord = Tempus Wee Jas = Kelemvor (the corruption within the church is from secret followers of the old god of death, Myrkul) Shaundakul for the Striders. |

Either the FRCS, in the Deities section, or Faiths & Pantheons has a little sidebar that explains who the FR equivalent of most of the core D&D Grayhawk gods/goddesses are. |

I thought about this, and I think ille be taking Tyr instead of cuthbert, maybe even Ilmater. For Wee Jas i like your idea, but i find kelemvor to be too good to be of any use, ill look at it closer tomorrow. and again thanks for all help, this is much appreciated:) |

As a huge fan of Shining South and the Serpent Kingdoms, I'm thrilled to have more content added to those regions. -Serpent Kingdoms isn't really integral to play in most cases. It's a cool book filled with some nice fluff, however. None of the FR books are integral to play. However, a lot of people like myself love the regions and races in the Serpent Kingdoms and find it to be one of the best 3.x FR releases yet. |
