X history of Toril [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-14-05, 04:26 PM In an upcoming campaign, there's going to be a temple with glass stained windows with prophecies on them. A bit more than half of them will already be history. I've used the big highlights of the faerun timeline and I've still got a few gaps to fill. I was thinking of making up some things that occured on some of the other continents. That made me wonder. Kara-tur, Maztica and Zakhara had campaign settings made for them. Did they contain their own timelines? And if so, what were the biggest events in these settings?

11-21-05, 12:01 PM I've read through them, but no event seemed of the scale I was looking for. It was nice to see that the time of troubles was mentioned in the kara-tur timeline, the mazticans seem to not have noticed anything peculiar. In kara-tur the deities (immortals?) just vanished to later return. Does anyone know where they went? I expected their avatars to walk kara-tur just like in Faerun. :confused:
What would you mark as the biggest event in the kara-tur timeline? I'm guessing the scale of some of them is hard to estimate for me, because I don't know how big named empires are/were.
